He's knows damn well he has no authority to do this! And "leaving it to the states" will have same impact as with abortion: red state residents get it right up the ass! This dept exists because while many schools will not provide needed services without mandates and funding!

The headline noted that the department was created by congress as if it’s a fun fact; maybe the headline should note that the president can’t legally dismantle the department, as it’s directly relevant.
