Does #Trump really think countries are NOT going to cooperate to mitigate the effects of his dumb ideas, because he says so? What arrogance. #makeamericacrippleagain #MACA

Trump really is an arrogant moron isn't he?! Of course other countries are going to work to try and mitigate impacts on them. Just cause Trump thinks the USA is the centre of the universe doesn't make it so! No country is too big or ugly to be sidelined.

Trump says that, missing the whole point that the EU & Canada working together is BECAUSE they don't want to work with the US anymore. Threatening them with yet another incentive to do exactly what they were already going to do isn't the bargaining chip he thinks it is. "Art of the Deal" indeed. >

< Plus, in the "everybody else acts as badly as I do" column, of COURSE Trump would think that the only method someone can try and get a better deal for themselves is by hurting everyone ELSE. That's the whole rationale behind his "America First" bullshit.

The US is roughly 16% of the global economy and a lot of the world buy and sell there. He thinks tariff walls are going to work? He is a house of cards, give it a nudge and let him fall. The November elections will change everything for the better.

Prediction: If the EU and Canada drive Trump to a childish rage-induced extremely high level of tariffs, the consequences will drive his approval ratings (and the GQP’s) to well below 30%. Only the fools totally addled by right wing media will remain in the cult.

Every other US president post-WWII has understood the advantages of alliances and robust international trade. As a result, most of the world's economies, including the US, have enjoyed unprecedented economic growth and dramatically improved standards of living.

Canada! Time to get revenge on Trump. Send 100,000,000,000. CANADIAN GEESE to his golf courses. The best part is that he can't put a tariff on them
