yes a common visible sign that appears of a body with a penis that is estrogen dominant. it's a dark streak along the raphe and this happens in part because this is where the vaginal opening would form if your anatomy was open (dia, i.e. canal) rather than sealed (peri). also marks an erogenous zone

Putting on my little sex ed teacher outfit to remind people that a fairly large amount of trans women develop a broad, darkly pigmented line down their urethra and the center of their balls. It looks like this! I've still NEVER seen any artist add this to any picture of girl cock

Yeah. Good to have it be known, both because it's interesting but also because even though I can't relate personally it's obviously something that could be quite frightening to discover.

What does that mean if I've always had that? Another point for "maybe I should get my actual chromosomes checked", tbh.... Besides my difficulty gaining muscle all my life, the hard crash in my disassociation on HRT, and my hyperextension in my arms and legs...

Fascinating. I had no idea, does this happen w post op tguys or does it only happen if someone already has a penis and they take e? (Hope this isnt an invasive/weird question im just curious)

i'm not the OP but post-op can mean multiple different procedures for trans men! Metoidioplasty uses and modifies the existing genitals and I would assume if it were to occur with any kind of operation, this one is what I'd bet. (phalloplasty usually uses skin grafts for the penis!)

Ok so besides testosterone and and estrogen making a person's anatomy lean towards the respective gender...it also gives trans women a biological tattoo of a vagina...? ...does testosterone do that to trans men to??? Also I thought this pic was Appa at first glance ngl

generally the lack of it in art and writing as a whole is just sort of because a lot of "woman with a penis" stuff tends to just slap on the function and anatomy of someone who has strictly testosterone-driven function. otherwise you'd also see hyaluronic acid serum instead of thick white substance

more useful tips: estrogen massively reduces or removes the refractory period (you can "keep going" or "stack orgasms"). the perineum & parts of the scrotum can be erogenous zones (you can "finger" them). [this third one is true whether you're on E or T] but the frenulum is the sensitivity analogue

to the uncovered clitoris. sometimes it's just completely dry, but if it isn't then you basically can get wet (the fluid is clear and sticky but less so than T-precum or semen and is much much thinner, hence the hyaluronic acid serum joke. this also changes taste) during or after.

hardness is much more variable, and isn't the necessary requirement to indicate arousal by itself. estrogen softens the skin everywhere. finally, to recover temporary production of semen one can use specific "stacks", or apply t gel, but be careful with the latter since some t can enter the blood.

ooooh so that's what that is. though strangely for me it isn't exactly a line but rather kinda gets wider towards my base before tapering in again

I remember decades back noticing it very prevalently with a specific actress and genuinely thought it was some kind of scar, potentially from self harm due to body dysmorphia. I feel like I've only seen it in a handful of instances, so it's really cool to get the deep lore behind it! <3

I didn't even know this that's so cool!! I've definitely noticed it on people but I thought it was just pigmentation unrelated to hrt. will definitely be a staple in my tgirl art from now on!

I read through it all and its prty educational. Though makes me realise as I read through the comments that I may have a hormone imbalance, cause im a man and have always been a man and yet all of these things apply to me. Even have the dark line that goes all the way to my belly button.

Me (male, never been on HRT, always kinda had a loose relationship with my gender anyway) looking at the very clear marks on my own junk: Huh... I now have even more questions than I did before.

Huh always wondered about this, over in the furry porn scene there's a trend of larger emphasis on the fusion point of the scrote being dark and frilly, typically not for trans characters interestingly. The above color quirk of anatomy helps me contemplate my actual junk in context though, neat.
