one reason liberals & leftists who otherwise claim to "sympathize with the oppressed" are being pretty quick to throw out trans people is because they don't think trans people, especially trans women, actually experience any oppression at all. they conceptualize transmasculine transition as

Thank you, good read. And tracks. Trans, autistic, 50% Latina but white as fuck, I'm fully aware of all the whacky shit. ...it fucking sucks. Knowing that I'm always one law or choice away from probably being screwed over if not already.

"being 'tired of misogyny' so trying to live as something else they aren't, and need to 'know their place'", and they conceptualize transfeminine transition as "hypersexual perversion, indulgent artifice, [they] want to get fucked like a girly-boy, or are a monstrous phallic-woman-other" and

both are treated out of a sense of shame and failure, and nonbinary people get grouped based on their sex assignment, and you either get regendered into familial reproduction for the nation (the former) or degendered & underclassed into being a dual-sexed fake-female sex toy (the latter)

regendering-into-reproduction is why there's such insidious transphobia (both overt and covertly "feminist") discouraging masculinizing transition past the point of permanently impacting fertility especially, trying to maintain the ability to force detransition into motherhood as much as possible

there's a kind of conscious awareness of this both online and offline, which is why much energy is expended by everyone trying to convince everyone else that the oppression exists. it's definitely maddening to everyone, isn't it. because just like how art has not moved the needle, theory has not

In the US in the 80s the (crank) Revolutionary Communist Party was explicitly antigay because "gays are bourgeois" I think it has more to do with middle class men being unable to incorporate queer people into their hypergendered imaginary working class than anything about trans or gay people

This is very similar to why liberals and leftists often see disabled people as not worthy of sympathy as well. Right down to "Disabled people are actually bourgeoisie" being the most common expression of ableism by leftists. Being a disabled trans women is often like constantly experiencing deja vu.

Liberals, in many ways, claim they champion inclusivity and equality for all, but when contradictions within their own party pops up or they have to confront it head on, they concede and look no better than conservatives when doing so.

That is giving way more thought about trans masculinity than most liberals & leftist do. Transdom outside of the actual trans folks seems more concerned with trans women and "fake women". I don't think a lot of "gender in sport" debate even considers a transmasc person competing with cismascs.

Well yeah, they believe that sex is immutable and males are unassailably physically superior to females. They don't think it would even be possible for a transmasc to keep up (if they think about it at all).

It's more of a deeply rooted misoginy at the core of it all, I'd reckon. The question of "fuck what do we DO for male trans" not even being thought of by most trans scare bad faith actors, because at the end of the day, they're even less concerned with them as they probably don't exist in they mind.

I would probably even argue that to male libs it inherently makes sense for someone to want to be masc, because of these people's own tendencies to feel dysphoria about not being "masc" enough. In tha regard, I think being transmasc might be too slippery a slope because of the gender questioning.
