Trump is on the brink of betraying Ukraine and the UK. Britain must lead in Europe by increasing defence spending immediately and all political parties should get round the table to make that happen. I fear what happens if we don't take this step.

What do we spend on?

What does that actually mean? What factories? Invest in what?

The industries involved in defence! Such as shipbuilding, weapons manufacturing. It's fuel for an economy.

State owned? Private companies? What weapons, what ships? I’m convinced we need to spend more on defence, but it is much complex than just saying ‘spend more’.
