I'm really surprised that 'Reform racism scandal' is a thing. It seems like an oxymoron and I doubt that anybody actually needs to resign over it given that I doubt any of their voters care…unless I've underestimated them? #UKPolitics #ReformUK

I used to think that it could be a manifesto commitment but changed my mind to now thinking that it definitely has to be a referendum (requiring a supermajority). #UKPolitics #Rejoin

Luke Tryl@luketryl.bsky.social

Think strongly in PM’s interest to nip in the bud the idea rejoin needn’t involve a second referendum. Public think it needs one, and risk for rejoin side is debate about mechanism for consent bleeds into debate about merits reinforcing arguments that rejoin is anti democratic

This casts the UK government's recent advice about stocking up on food supplies in a different light…! Perhaps they had a point after all? Might genuinely have to start taking this into account. #UKPolitics #UK #CyberAttack

This is big news because this was the most contentious policy. I think many people don't understand the triple lock so this number might increase if people really understood that the impact might be 1 or 2% and if inflation is high the pension will go up by that amount.

These are actually unbelievable results. Andy Burnham has found a way to end the triple lock which even 43% of boomers support. (Number goes up to 80% when you don't mention that they will have to help pay for it 😆). Guaranteed vote for Burnham from me next election. #UKPolitics #Burnham
