My fourth pin was very simple but it was just something I wanted for myself: a small, high quality, trans-inclusive lesbian flag. And of course it made sense to create one for gay men too, while I was at it! canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/1854...

My 5th pin design was a plant with a flower that changes colour under the UV in sunlight to reveal rainbow pride colours, while appearing white indoors. I wanted to highlight the process of coming out and the fact it's contextual, not just a one time thing. canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/1885...
By my 6th design, I was getting requests for an ally pin. The problem is though, that allyship is all about actions and self-declared allies can actually do more harm than good if they don't follow through. So I made this design specifically as a call for action canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4321...
I also made this online document of easy-to-take actions for allies who want to support trans people right now: docs.google.com/document/u/0... 🏳️⚧️
My 7th design also targeted allyship and suggested a specific action to take: conversation. If you're an ally, this pin is a reminder and opportunity to actually tell people about it and to share knowledge of how others can make a difference too canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4321...
Maybe you think wearing something like this would be virtue signalling or that you don't know enough about the subject, but it's exhausting for trans folks to be repeating the basics all the time so, even if you only know the basics, please talk about them! canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4321...
Diverging this thread a bit from looking back at past pins today because my new badge design for LGBT+ History Month 2026 just dropped! The design celebrates the theme of 'Science and Innovation' and will raise money for Schools OUT (the charity who founded and coordinate the month)
Immensely proud to share that I am the designer of the official badge for LGBT+ History Month 2026. Last night, @lgbthm.bsky.social revealed that the 2026 theme for the month will be 'Science and Innovation', so get ready to learn about some amazing queer scientists next year!
Design 8 was my gay frog pins! They're some of my absolute favourites to ship out to people because it feels like they're heading off on an adventure. I'm so happy when people send me photos of them out and about, exploring the world 🥺 canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4327...
I'm particularly pleased with how the frog photoshoot came out, after standing in my local canal for a couple of hours. Plus, I got to use the #GayFrogs audio on the video, which was super fun 🐸 canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4327...
Continuing my countdown to the 1 year pinniversary, today I'm celebrating my 9th design. These pins were inspired by the terms used by scientists for flowers that are both male and female. They are known as 'bisexual' or 'perfect' canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4338... #SciArt
In June, I created a trans pride sticker based on the @dropout.tv show 'Game Changer', which I gave away without profit. Thanks to an amazing community response and the blessing of @samreich.bsky.social himself, I was later able to sell them profitably and to invest in a few more designs...
Today, I can finally share the rest of my Game Changer, "we've been here the whole time" stickers and pins, in a whopping 27 flag designs! Stickers: canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4333... Pins: canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4346... My endless thanks to @samreich.bsky.social for blessing these! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
In today's pinniversary countdown, I'll highlight the other Game Changer things I skipped yesterday. I also created embroidered patches and trans eggshell style stickers (very hard to remove)! Patches: canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4346... Eggshell stickers: canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4380...
Unfortunately, even these big three flags never managed to break even on the first run and the setup fees are high for each design, so I'm not planning any of the other flags in this form. I hope you enjoy these ones though! canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4346...
While I was creating the Game Changer pride stickers, I decided to also create some large (10x15cm) trans flags in the hard-to-remove eggshell style. I like the idea that they're big enough to be seen from a distance and to have positive messages written on them canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4380...
It took me a long time to design pronoun pins because I wanted to create something really special, that I'd never seen before (also, the shape variations for each pin make them a relatively expensive investment). I made these: colour change 'mood' pronoun pins! canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4376...
They're so pretty and I love watching them change colour during the day. There's also a little sparkle in there, so even when the colour isn't actively changing they still look magical canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4376...
Probably my most popular recent pin, and one that I'm incredibly proud of, is this hinged tree identification design that brings me back to my roots as a forest ecologist. Not only is it a useful miniature guide, you can tap it to access a digital resource! canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4386...
My digital tree ID guide is actually available for free at canopyrobin.com/uktrees so please do share it around and use it to discover cool leaves this autumn 🍂
My most recent pin designs are these split pronoun pins, which show different pronouns depending on the angle you see them from. It's such a cool effect and helps to ensure a mix of pronouns are actually used! canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4396...

And finally, today, one year after launching my first LGBTree pride pin to help fund transition, I'm launching another tree! This time the trees are decorated for Christmas as part of my winter pin drop! canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4405...
I'm also releasing a whole flock of robins for my seasonal pin drop! There's one robin that's just regular bird colours but the rest are all pride flags from different aspects of my personal identity 😊🐦 canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4405...
