They're definitely worth looking into! Most of them are still very cheap these days, too.

Frankly, the idea you could even do a line of physical games on CD-ROM, in a jewel case and everything, at ¥100 seems absurd. Their margins must have been razor thin. And yet they did over 70 of these!

This is really neat to hear about! "Napoleon" as a Japanese card game usually refers to something like Briscola Chiamata, a five-player trick taking game that has nothing to do with the UK Napoleon. But in this case it seems it is the UK one! www.pagat.com/picture/napo...

It's so charming. I'd run into the shareware version before, but obviously the registration servers are down so I'd only been able to play the first level until I got this CD.
