I use them on occasion in components. It's a really tough thing to communicate to product when components have their own breakpoints instead of the whole app in my experience.

We expose them through a component and custom attribute syntax. Internally we use them in a couple of situations, but we need to be using them more. Had light conversations around that last week.

Just used them this week for changing layout in a dialog

This has been on my mind since this article: medium.com/simple-human... I agree the main challenge can be to convince stakeholders it is a good idea.
