My wife just insulted The Blair Witch Project and I can't believe my ears. I understand not liking it but she's being brutal.

Every place I've ever worked at I wanted to make a "lite" version of the apps I work on with a focus on the features that matter the most in secret but I'm always worried about the optics.

Who is using container queries in their design system? At the component level and/or through extractions (tokens, component APIs, etc)?

Is it too picky to mention excessive optional chaining in a review? I hate the noise with it but it doesn't seem like a big deal to most.

What I like about not using LLM-based tools is writing code is so tedious you are looking for solutions to write less code or no code at all and you usually find them. Which improves your project dramatically in a longer run.

McNulty: If Snot Boogie always stole the money, why'd you let him play? Man: Got to. This America, man.

When you say something then someone says "100%" then they seem to totally forget what you just said and talk about doing the exact opposite.

Is there any css property I can abuse to show a comment in Code when I hover a class? `comment: "something usefula bout this strange class that seems to do nothing"` "works" but makes me nervous.

I can't wait till they up the price for this absolutely useless shit no one is asking for. Yeah, I can't fucking wait to listen to my inbox.

How do you make GitHub notifications usable? I feel like it's just a dumping ground of everything that happens in everything.

Watching American Psycho for the first time in a long time and it's heart breaking instead of just completely fucked up. I would love to know exactly when that transition in my mind happened.

Pleasantly suprised with this absolute hack job (maybe) to make the default empty value lighter for a select: <select class="has-[option[value='']:checked]:text-slate-500 text-slate-900">...</select>

Fun website idea I don't know how to keep authentic: replies you send to spam text messages out of anger. Just hit one with a "fuck you robot".

I don't see many "Press/Hold to Confirm" buttons. Is there a good reason for that? Is the "Undo" pattern just easier for users in general since "press" or "hold" isn't really common in web UIs?
