The federal ACA exchange is funded via a small user fee applied to the premiums for policies sold on the exchange. Trump is claiming that Biden set the fee too high (even though Biden *reduced* it from 3.0% to as low as 1.5% some years), & is now "refunding" the "overcharge"...

...even though a) it was TRUMP 2.0 which *increased* the fee back up to 2.5%, and b) if there really WAS a massive surplus, they could have simply knocked it down another few tenths of a point. This would've saved nearly EVERY enrollee a few bucks while also ironically saving the feds some as well.

Instead, he's giving a one-time $500 "refund" to the VERY SAME ~1M ENROLLEES THAT HE SCREWED OUT OF *THOUSANDS* OR EVEN *TENS OF THOUSANDS* OF DOLLARS OUT OF IN SUBSIDIES THIS YEAR.
