There's 364 other days of the year that he could criticize the Israeli *response* to Oct. 7th, some of which I would actually agree with. But choosing to do so ON Oct. 7th is pretty offensive. At least he publicly admitted that Hamas committed "horrific war crimes," anyway, so there's that.

One can smile and smile. But the dashing young man is simply pursuing a long term project of the “new left” that stretches back decades. Thanks to Bibi and Ben Gvir they smell victory.

Agreed. It also ignores that many don't agree with the netanyahu regime. I think of those people today. I think of those who lived and will never be the same because of the trauma. I also think of those who died either on 10/7 or were later killed by hamas. TBC.

Unless there's a much larger cultural change, simply changing the leaders won't do jack. *sigh* The statement also ignores some who want the 2 state solution.

like, they fired rockets into Israel to such an extent they spent billions of dollars to build a massive rocket interception system. where does the think all of those rockets were dropping? Curious stuff like that is left out of the Hamas paragraph.
