No, see, any recent winner is just woke and doesnt count. The real winners are those back in the day when only white men won.

But Trump did think Iran was in his political interest. He just got rid of or ignored everyone who might tell him what a bad idea it was

a weird set of people who only exist online are people who celebrate the defeat of global fascism in every other country and are then horrified and appalled at the idea that they should also be expected to vote for their domestic opponent of global fascism if some of their stances are Problematic

This report is genuinely overwhelming, in terms of the evidence both against Trump and of a ham-fisted cover-up. Including one instance in which Ghislaine Maxwell was actually about to mention one of Trump's young accusers and Todd Blanche told her to stop talking. The media response is "yawn."

Wasn't the while point of Obama's thing to call for bottom up organizing and people just...didnt do it? They wanted him to just wave a magic wand.

These people don’t want to win; they don’t even want to persuade. They want a world where they are a pure and rarified elite, with none of the responsibilities of actual power, only the smug gratification of being right.

what about "I couldn't give a rats ass about it." I suppose that is closer to the latter but like, if you paid me $100 to watch it I would I guess lol

how dare you suggest that there may have never been a golden age of black and white good vs. evil politics

The whole "white voters abandoned the dem party because they embraced corporate money," etc. stuff never made sense because Republicans have always embraced it *more.* How do you explain that without essentially invoking Merc's law?

As someone who is in a position where I probably could endure continued republican governance (at least financially), I find it abhorrent that people in a similar position seem to use that fact as excuse for sacrificing the wellbeing of others in the name of waiting for purity

the fuck you care about immigrants, minorities, gay or trans people then turn around and bemoan that maybe it's better for dems to lose so you have a bigger excuse to clean house.

i am inviting anyone from a legacy media organization to explain to me why the house judiciary dems report on trump’s epstein’s ties and multiple allegations of rape isn’t worthy of extensively reporting on. i’m serious. i want to understand.

El-Sayed on Trump's cognitive tests: "I went to medical school...In my neurology unit, I would have to give that MoCA exam...The only people that you give a MoCA test to are people who you worry may have cognitive deficits. By definition, if you're taking one of those tests, something's wrong."

It is still wild to me to have people come out literally a week before an election where dems are poised to wipe the floor with republicans and be like "well actually if we win that means we can't address the party's problems, so maybe that's bad"
