When I was a kid in the 90s, chicken pox was just a thing that pretty much every kid got at some point. My younger siblings got the chicken pox vaccine in the 2000s. I got shingles (when the virus reemerges: it sucks) in my twenties and I'm very glad my siblings won't have to worry about that!
