Well even if they still do, who all is going to answer the phone? I predict the national guard will lose a lot of members. It might also gain them back, but I suspect America may not be sending their best when Trump controls them.

And what an asshollery thing to do to the states (and every other affected outlet) to just pull funding like that. States, schools, food programs etc all have planned, budgeted, hired, bought materials etc based on funding. It’s just like the businesses and tariffs. No one can plan ish. No one knows

What is going to be cut when the states don’t have the money? The alarm system upgrades that were ok last year? The helicopter that sat for 363 days last year? It is an absolute mess. I feel for the people who have to budget around the whims of a toddler. This isn’t any way to run anything.
