House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries was asked by reporters if New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani had made enemies on Capitol Hill after the mayor endorsed the primary challengers of a pair of sitting Democratic incumbents in House races in New York.

Hakeem Jeffries should be nervous. Dems have had enough of his brand of do-nothing, status quo politicians who are far too cozy with big money, special interest groups and corpos. We demand change!

"He's got work to do in term of his endorsements" Oh fuck off Jeffries. Just continue to wave your hands like trump does. Americans are governed and represented by the inepts. There are not that many good dems in Washington. I hope the Mamdamis of this world all get elected.

I just want to remind everyone, Hakeem Jeffries grew up in Brooklyn in the 80s, specifically Crown Heights. By all measures, he should be one of the coolest mfers from one of the coolest parts of the coolest city in the country. And yet, he is this ****ing lame. It's time to kick him out.

And yes, I understand he can't be kicked out for at least 2 more years. But, finally, in my neighborhood, everyone else representing me besides him, my two lame-ass senators and milquetoast governor, are awesome, and I couldn't be happier:

From state committee all the way up to the state senate, my neighborhood is represented by good-hearted, and badass socialists now, and I’ve never been fucking happier. Love you Bed-Stuy ❤️ Congratulations @eonforassembly.bsky.social

I think right behind Mike Johnson, who will likely lose his speakership, Hakeem Jeffries needs to be removed if/when we take the House to allow somebody more open to welcoming Progressive candidates into the ranks. God only knows what conversations he has with The Squad, if he speaks to them at all.
