If you're arguing about the pretext, you are already losing. It doesn't matter what they were doing in the boats, it's still wrong to kill them.

We have ALL known this. It's good that Senator Kaine is finally taking some official action. It's reminiscent of Queen Amidala's line from _The Phantom Menace_. ("I was not elected to watch my people suffer and die while you discuss this invasion in a committee!")

In overseas conflicts involving since WW2 a total estimate of civilians killed in these conflict is 2.6 million. In comparison total overall firearm deaths in the US since 1968 exceed 1.5 million. America is a country of violent death.

Yes regardless of whether anyone in these boats was trafficking drugs, the individuals killed have been murdered by United States Military personnel on the orders of their superior officers and the Trump regime. It would be nice to think a long stay at The Hague awaits everyone in that chain.

They are murder victims if they are drug traffickers or not. 1. That's not the punishment for drug trafficking. 2. You don't jump to the punishment without a court, trial, evidence, etc. Every single boat struck is a murder victim. Prosecute accordingly.

These people were on boats. That is maybe the only situation where you can arrest them with absolutely zero chance of them running away. There is absolutely no reason to bomb them. Just arrest the guys.

Of course they weren’t. They knew it and did it anyway. Prison time for all involved. They even warned about following illegal orders.

Why should non Americans be assassinated for narcotrafficking by the US ever? This is a coked up Hegseth killing innocent people for target practice. Such a sick, sick country.

The White House has some level of immunity now since it does not cooperate with the International Criminal Court. But in the long run that may not always prevent legal consequences for those conducting these extra legal killings.

You mean to tell me the white supremacist in charge in the US is simply mass-murdering BIPOC sailors from South America and lying about what they were doing when they were murdered. A racist killing the people he harbors racial animus against then lying about it, who could've seen that coming?

It's called DUE PROCESS. constitutional guarantee that the government must treat people fairly and follow established legal rules before taking away their life, liberty, or property. It is divided into procedural due process, substantive due process, and protections against vague laws.
