Well he wants to keep the news of Traitor Johnson sending the House home to prevent Massie talking about the Epstein files our of the news cycle. Not fun fact: Trump raped children with his BFF Epstein.

This is insane. We're so fucked. Funny how the money guys seem to think their big number in a computer will stop them from being eaten alive in the place they're creating for us.

Unfit for office. What is it going to take? He has no understanding of the most basic fundamentals of macro economics. Now threatening extremely damaging, inflationary things if he doesn't get his way? WTF ?

The president of the United States: The usually independent Fed must lower the interest rate, likely leading to higher inflation, or I will force Americans to pay more to buy some domestic goods, and not let them buy some stuff that’s not made domestically. 🤷🏻‍♂️

There are lots of institutional problems with impeachment. Unfortunately, the result of an impeachment might actually be worse. Trump is incompetently senile; Vance is not. Vance is a scion of Thiel and would likely succeed in implementing a fascist state.

Please, please can someone explain to him that having a trade deficit with another country, in a world where each one is buying different things from the other, isn't necessarily a bad thing........

Europeans think there is a lunatic at the helm of the US, but we also see this as most Americans being weak, as they let all of this happen. One argument for this: when was the last time that Americans took to the streets to at least demonstrate against all of this total lunacy??? WHEN???

We had a few nationwide protests with over 5 million. But unlike the French, US protesters don't cause mischief and don't take to the streets day after day, so they are easier to ignore. At this point people are aware of the madness and the gov't won't topple so we need votes more than protests.

Elderly dementia patient holds gun to his head and demands he stop breathing or else he will glue his notrils shut.

Linking trade policy to interest rates creates an unusual economic feedback loop. If major trade restrictions were actually imposed, they could raise import costs, disrupt supply chains and slow growth — while potentially adding inflation pressure. That could make the Fed’s job harder, not easier.
