i am inviting anyone from a legacy media organization to explain to me why the house judiciary dems report on trump’s epstein’s ties and multiple allegations of rape isn’t worthy of extensively reporting on. i’m serious. i want to understand.

Whelp. At least I got in a solid 40 minutes walk as I was one of the 15% who turned out to vote for mayor.

Those treaties and constitutional rights he talks about? We have to fight in court repeatedly to get them recognized and bands don't have the money for such a prolonged expense. The White Paper in 1969 was an extreme approach to abolishing the Indian Act. Let's learn from history before we act.

A recent securities filing spotlighted what triggered Mark Zuckerberg’s months-long power battle with board directors at Meta — a fight that sparked not-so-veiled threats from Zuckerberg and led board members to contemplate quitting.

Once Trump is done and dusted, I wonder what grift the Blue Slag accounts will turn to next. I would hope they would go away, but you don’t leave grifter money on the table.

Walter Koenig has passed on. Thanks for all the years of performances and writing, good sir.

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

How unpopular was the snap election? This is the first Conservative government in the province in nearly 100 years. The Conservative Party was two days with an interim leader when the election was called and still manage to win a super majority.

I could have used AI to speed up the production of my podcast by having it do all the narration and art. But I am not a thief. I also want people to hear me (and my soils) when they listen; not some robotic soulless noise that only hacks and fakes use.

An AI narrated audiobook will never reach the quality of a book narrated by the right voice talent. The AI can't read through a paragraph, see something that causes the reaction the author wanted, and react to it, it will just make a voice say the words.

My first five TTRPGS in the order I played them: 1.) Basic D&D (Good old red box for me) 2.) Marvel Super Heroes (FASERIP 1984) 3.) Top Secret 4.) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 5.) Star Frontiers (Loved this one)

Obama points out that values (or lack thereof) are just as big a problem for our civic society as affordability

Elon Musk is such an idiot that when he states a fact, odds are that not only is it completely 100% wrong, it is so obviously wrong that a chimpanzee with a stick could tell that in five seconds.

Based on 47s repeated claims Canada is begging for a deal and his weak approach to *looks down* lift tariffs on exports of Maine potatoes and blueberries, I believe the US is trying desperately to make a deal and Canada just keeps saying "Keep trying, buddy."

Mark Carney: "We continue to be ready to sit down in good faith to negotiate a trade deal that are in both of our interests. We don't care about the timing of that. We could sign it this afternoon if the U.S. were there."

In most of the world, this would have been scandal that would have ended careers and triggered an immediate response to hold everyone accountable. In America, it is just another Tuesday.

While I admire the intent of this group, professional sports is a luxury and driven by market demand; not a national right. There are a whole lot of others things the government should look at guarantee access to before a hockey game played by millionaires.

I certainly hope nobody makes the mistake of conducting business with this company in the future, or involving them in any processes.

Speaking as your local democratic party treasurer, when you donate $100 to us through ActBlue, we receive $98.50 and when you cut us a direct check, we receive 100 percent of it.

We found that as of right now 73% of your campaign donation goes back to the consultants and vendors (!!!), four times more than just 20 years ago. Only 13% to ads. Even I was shocked.

Jaws 3D may be a lousy film, but it still made $88 million at the box office. Find success in your failures.

They didn’t get the best seats technically, but at least they got another Timeless Ticket. Maybe the team is counting it on being 40 or 50 years before another World Series appearance.

I am starting to have the same attitude to game development studios as I do towards not getting names of players put on the back of my jerseys: they come and go too quick now.

Well, apparently the major discourse in Canada today is how Rogers requires people to purchase multiple expensive subscription packages just to access NHL games. “This is against God’s will!” was one comment I saw. Ya-okay. That is enough of that nonsense for me today.

There are little things I do to let my wife know how much I love her: - meeting her with our dogs when she gets off the bus from work - sending her a lunch email when she is in the office - running solo errands when she doesn't want to go out - calling people on the phone to get things done

Flu vaccine? Check. Covid vaccine? Check. Travel book prepped for Nov trip? Check. I have my priorities.
