About time! The party of small government used 9-11 as cover to expand it immensely. All of the functions of DHS used to be handled by existing agencies. If DOGE had been a real thing instead of a scam, they’d have recommended shutting DHS down to save massive amounts of money!

And yes, there is now reason for ICE to remain as an agency. Revert back to Border and Customs being the primary border security. Lack of documentation should be handled through civil, rather than criminal, processes.
