U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission

One time, CPSC hosted a carbon monoxide safety poster contest for students, and the kids came in with absolute bangers.

You outsourced this to an elementary school class, obviously.

"Do something about it or death will!" goes so hard.

So, no, we didn't have kids do it because if we did it would look a lot better.

All have good qualities, but the one with the comic panels is a real standout.

For the canary one, if we were commissioning that, we would have cut the text way down. That's a beautiful visual. Perfect for one, maybe two lines of text. No more.

Somehow managed to post all of the finalists but not the grand prize winner. Press release from 2011 for those curious! - www.cpsc.gov/Newsroom/New...

They're all incredible! What was the age range? Some of them, while amazing, look like they were made by kids. But some of those look like professional work! 👏

This just makes me wish we nurtured more kids’ love of the arts 😭😭😭 they’re so good

@tobybartels.name

The chalkboard one gave you a mascot? We need more posters with COdie, the CO cat!

So you’re admitting that “Armadillo Baby” is crap compared to the excellent work of elementary school kids. You proved my point better than I did.

Every entry rules harder than the average workshopped design agency effort.

The first one is giving amazing Garbage Pail Kids vibes. Also, shout-out to facts. #policynotpropaganda
