As a union activist in British Columbiia, I was involved in organizing a number of large scale political protests. Small groups of Black Bloc anarchists always attempted to undermine the credibility of otherwise peaceful protests with violence and property damage. We restrained them ourselves.

This remains a democracy. Trump appears to be following Putin's example, and there are calls for him to be held as a traitor to the United States. It raises questions about who might be complicit in his actions and plans shifting this country toward authoritarianism.
