Just joined and was hoping to fill the void of Yahoo Comments and Reddit that had gone down hill as of late. I gave up on Facebook as well, hopefully some good discussions. I hear a lot of people have thought out discussions here. I like coding and video games and going back and forth at times!

Not gonna lie, wife got sick and didn't go to No Kings PDX. Very weirded out how little coverage there was for it when I looked. I'm sure it exists but when I searched 'No Kings Portland' here and other places I found nothing. Had to go on Gemini and ask and only saw a small KOIN 6 local on it.

Just imagine ten years ago this was unthinkable. Now it's part of life in the USA. You wonder how the Nazi's came to be. Well you are seeing it.

ICE brutally detain woman's gardener-right in front of her house. 4 goons drag and violently pull man out of truck head-first. Kneel on his back after pinned down to pavement. "I can't breathe! I can't breathe!" he cries out. Incident occurred in Everett, Washington.

Cannot state enough of how tone deaf messages like this are to what people want. And how just 'being there' Democrats cannot seem to get is not going to cut it anymore.

Congress can’t indict people. They can have hearings and impeachment trials. But not criminal trials. Please don’t expect criminal trials and then blame democrats when you don’t get them. Midterms are step one. We have to win in 2028 and add seats to SCOTUS to hold people criminally accountable.

Got to say this out loud for more to hear. You need to really really ask more of your Democrats to end ICE and end the war in Gaza. I live in Oregon and frankly Jeff Merkley is the only that usually will ever respond back when you mention Israel attacks. The rest just take money and ignore you /1

This is extremely important because Israel NOW gets funds for weapons DIRECTLY IN OUR OWN BUDGET. This is NOT going away and just saying: "Well they are not a Republican, so they are good." It's not really going to work if they win, do nothing to change anything. #StopAIPAC #StopIsrael

🔥Jewish Actor Mandy Patinkin (brillant in Homeland) gets really passionate about Gaza and the child killer Benjamin Netanyahu. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Is there any video game that is Metroidvania but where it is also a fighter? Like a game where you learned moves to fight better by finding teachers and artifacts to update your moves? I think there is Hollow Knight, Ori, Nine Sols, Prince of Persia, but nothing with just fists and feet martial /1

Apparently people are sharing this far and wide on social media, which I think is horrible. This could cripple ICE operations. PLEASE do not share this.

Fun Fact Strom Thurmond was SC's senator forever and ran on segregation in the past. SC loved him. SC has a history of stupidity in their reps going back to the pre Civil War with a guy that caned another rep. They don't really work on togetherness but makes them happy with assaulting others. /1

If the imbeciles in SC who kept re-electing Lindsey Graham got together with the moronic voters in Maine who keep re-electing Susan Collins, they could challenge Texans for the title of ‘Most Self-Destructive Voters in America.’

And it gets even worse. Used to live there in Florence SC from 1988 to 1996 because my parents moved there. They flew the Confederate flag ON THE STATE CAPITAL to celebrate the Centennial of LOSING THE CIVIL WAR in the 60's and kept it there till the late 80's early 90's.

Everything in the modern era in the US in the last decade or so can be be described by two words. Fraud and Gambling. And the GOP can now openly change world events to gamble on things to have a favorable outcome. Only for the rich of course, everyone else gets screwed.

Silly question based on the times we live in. Why can't we have more CO OPs in areas not just in grocery stores. CO OP papers, CO OP healthcare companies. It seems that the for profit only model is failing and I would think this would make sense, but I don't see it that much.

I made my first outdoor bench! 15 2x4 x 8's of Cedar. About 120 or more counter sink holes and 1and1/2" or 3" 10 outdoor screws. Did some sanding of 40 to 160 to 320 grit. Then applied some teak oil. Leveled outside and set the bench. Dogs not included. #Woodworking #OutdoorFurniture

I may be one of the few people that actually did not have a good opinion of Stellar Blade. The moves and control were clunky and the surroundings were boring and repetitive. It reminded me of Nier Automata. A lot of hype with a game delivering not what I was hoping for.

Wouldn't it be great if minimum wage kept rising and we fought over a MAXIMUM wealth or wage that was just too high for execs that do nothing?

mass layoffs at Pixar despite Toy Story 5 about to cross $1 billion at the box office. there is simply no amount of money that will make corporations happy enough to not upend people’s lives.

After having fights will dumb fucks. Who don't even get that YES there were black people in Troy. As that is where modern Turkey is. I doubt any of them went to see it. Or that they ever read Homer in the first place. They just assume and assume because they are racist morons.

Odyssey was amazing. Just like I expected all the MAGA haters and white supremacists are wrong. Whatever they hate you should watch. It's way way up there for me in great movies. I would say it's going to be remembered for years to come, the acting, settings, music, everything was amazing.

Does anyone know how to permanently purge their email from lists of the DCCC or affiliates? I gave HEAVILY in 2020 to candidates and got almost no thank you's. But a ton of people I don't know ALWAYS asking for money via text and email. I cannot unsubscribe fast enough: #ActBlueBlows #ActBlue

Yep this guy gets it. They keep having 'concerns' and then do anything about it.

Maine has re-elected Susan Collins continually since 1996. It took Mainers 30 years to figure out that she’s a lying, hypocritical wench— and now they’re ‘pisssd off?’ They’re as dumb as Texans.

Like many are saying, this looks fake. Maybe not the agreement but the image. You have dead eyes, everyone magically holding the near the same pose, the same colors, the same looks. It's just fake.

Okay can anyone see any I post ever? This is genuinely weird to me as I have thousands of followers, I post anything and I get maybe 1 thumbs up. And when I first started the site over a year ago I had tons of responses. Am I filtered out? #BlueSkyHatesMe #AmIUnassigned #WhatUpPeeps

Who the heck is Zachary Svajda is what a lot of the US is saying right now. Been watching HBO but not the Macs show so I don't know if he got interviewed or not. But him and Tiafoe got some big wins to get into the second week. #FrenchOpen #Tennis

Got it the week it came out. Remember getting 'Eternal Ring' and then looking at the graphics and liking it, but friends wanting to play it and returned it for Tekken Tag Tournament. Best decision in gaming I ever made, so many battles on that game for years.

Whoa look at this @espn.com you can literally SEARCH IN A SPORT FOR WHAT YOU ARE SEARCHING for and it comes back. OMG! you are decades away from this but just showing how simple it is. It's called software development where you 'TAG' things with who, what, when and can (shakes head in amazment)

ACTUALLY GET RESULTS. Not having to endlessly scroll with generic pictures on a caroursel and HOPE to god you actually have the match. Honestly you should be embarrassed how bad your service is and has done ZERO IMPROVEMENT for years. You are the bottom barrel of streaming experience.

Hey @espn.com Check this out: You can LITERALLY select the event, AND THE BRACKET and find things. OMG. Wow. Imagine if you spent more than a $1 on your development of ESPN+ and finding things easily. Honestly why do you even want to own tennis Grand Slams? You blow at showing it.

You know you live in the NW when you have to honk at people to go through green lights. Seriously where I live in SW PDX there is green light and I swear to God about 5 cars go through a 30 second green light. I don't know WTF is wrong if everyone in the NW is high or slow, but JFC get with it.

striking to be an adult and read people you used to think highly of and then think: "Man this guy is just so full of bullshit and faith in things while grandly ignoring huge other points.". But I'm drudging on. I want to research conservative and liberal sides, but this guy is mostly bravado.
