It was a long talk with @kelseyhightower.com that got me to move from Mastodon and to delete my (then dormant) X account. He convinced me that AT and Bluesky were the right combination of technology and stewardship. My opinion: ANYONE posting on X is supporting Musk (by donating content).

I read the Elon Musk biography in 2018 and promised I’d never work for him (long before most people knew how terrible he is) @reckless.bsky.social kept saying posting on twitter is working for free and I left twitter the day Elon took over

Exactly. He gets paid on content there. If you post there, you're giving him money. You are supporting his fascism.
