With Creed and Black Panther, Ludwig Göransson seemed like one of the most interesting and exciting things to happen to Hollywood blockbuster music in years. With everything since (the exception being the fun Turning Red) I gotta say he's quickly becoming one of the least interesting going around.

Yeeeaaah I actually agree. Even his work on Community way back when was more interesting than his last few scores.

Oh his season 1 Mandalorian work rules though, everything since that has been a bummer.

I like the main theme, of course, but the underscore I think is pretty weak throughout the seasons.

I think it gets worse each season but I like the S1 score quite a bit overall. Hard to not compare it to Williams though when you're playing in a galaxy far, far away.
