I've also noticed a significant drop in new followers over the past month. I think there was a big influx of new users in our niche and it's now slowed down a bit. Hopefully it'll pick up again 🙂

I noticed it, bcs I was busy last days and didn't have time for social. But now when I'm again active, it slowly increases even though it's slowed down bit - good vibes persist 🦋

Yeah definitely. A lot of bigger accounts are still very active on twitter. I'm looking forward to more of them moving over permanently like @rich-harris.dev. 👍🏻

It is easier for them to stay on an established platform where they have their audience. The thing is: many people are only passive consumers who are okay with liking Levelsio's posts.

I think bluesky has a more tightly knit community

Exactly same, but as soon as you start to interact again, people start to follow. Something I've noticed though, I had a lot of following from lists. Seems that those lists don't bring anymore following.

Be careful trusting X’s follower count because bots are ridiculous. I think you want real people, encouraged to interact, rather than a vanity metric.

Yeah, I see the same. Also posted less as I was busy at the client and now with family.
