There are now 2 new sections for those who love to crunch stats. πŸ€“ New post analytics, including a new posts streak, searchable posts table and activity graphs πŸ“ˆ I hope these pics attach ok πŸ˜… (continued)πŸ‘‡πŸΌ

Web Dev tip πŸ”₯ Did you know you can get a png of any DOM Node by simply right clicking on the markup in the dev tools and selecting 'capture node screenshot'? πŸ“Έ Here is an example of some of my new followers as a png. Really handy for all sorts of things! πŸ™‚

Have any of my followers ever switched from a Samsung galaxy phone to a pixel? I've got the itch to switch phones, but I'm not sure if pixels are decent? My main concern is with the processor. I don't do any gaming, just standard use. I've had Samsung galaxy phones since the s3.

Voice notes. Convenient for the sender. Absolute nightmare for the recipient. Do the right thing. Take the time to type the message. πŸ™‚

I've been practicing some leetcode recently. I've found that I can't answer questions which I successfully did back in 2020. Does that mean I've got worse as a programmer over the past 5 years? πŸ˜‚

I went on a bike ride today with a mate and got a puncture. Thanks goodness he's very switched on and had a replacement inner tube. I had no idea what I was doing. Time to nerd up a bit and start learning more about bike maintenance / cycling. 🚡

What is everyone using for AI coding tools these days? Copilot? Cursor? Claude code? I'm currently using cursor for personal projects and copilot at work. Any using Claude Code? Is it worth it? How much is it for normal usage?

What are your thoughts on AI tools with social media, particularly bluesky? πŸ¦‹ Do you think they are a good idea? Useful? Or would you rather not see Bluesky have AI content? I feel like twitter has a real problem with AI generated content / spam and am hesitant to bring ai tools to bluesky.

Pro tip: You can WhatsApp yourself for quick notes / ephemeral information that you need easy access to. It's a really easy way to share files / pics etc

I would also like to see @solidjs.com come up through the ranks over the next fews years. Its nicer to write and is just 'better'. It would be cool to see some sort of native bindings (not even sure if that would be possible?).

React should have adopted signals before going nuts on a compiler or RSCs IMO. My 5 year prediction is a solid one… 😜

My bluesky wrapped 2024. 🎁 Earlier on this month I gave blueview.app users the ability to make their own blueksy wrapped. It was a bit of a mixed bag as there were a lot of edge cases which I missed when fetching the data for the video. It was a great learning experience and a lot of fun to do. 😁

I managed to learn lots of new things, and it was my first time rendering video in the cloud. I also discovered more about the bluesky API. πŸ‘πŸ» I've been having a break recently but am looking forward to getting back into developing blueview soon. 😁 Have a great rest of the holidays everyone! πŸŽ„πŸ˜
