Many years ago B&Q held a competition to find new names for paint colours. I entered a few music related names like Safe As Milk and Crispy Ambulance, and didn’t win.

Those would really make beautiful cover designs!

last time i was looking at paint colours they were all about character names (Sienna Sand, Pumice Brown, Montpellier Green etc) so it’s interesting that it’s evolved to titles. makes sense i guess

I like to play the game ‘B&Q colour or retiree’s yacht’ wherein an unsuspecting player has to guess whether a given name is for a paint colour or a boat.
