I say, I say, I say! Here is a joke I’ve been trying to write for a decade, but I think it only works as a diagram — so, BEHOLD! The fog on the Tyne is all mime

Only bloody watching Andor again. The production design and cinematography and writing and casting and effects and … it’s all so good, feels like it shouldn’t exist.

Would love to see it on the big screen – certainly a lot more cinematic that the last couple of films. Feels like it was deliberately structured to be sliced into three episode chunks that could be screened as a films.

The first genuinely honest ad for generative AI I've ever seen, from Microsoft / CoPilot A mediocre white guy sees his non-white colleague getting praised for good work, he asks AI to *literally copy it*, and then he gets all the praise instead: www.ispot.tv/ad/SoDi/micr...

To those who still call Seven “Se7en” because that’s how it appears in the opening credits, please be aware that these aren’t zeroes and you must henceforth refer to it as two-oooh-one. YOU MADE YOUR BIG PEDANTIC BED, NOW YOU SLUMBER PEDANTICALLY IN IT

We all know the "Viggo broke his toe" story but what's another movie fact you're personally compelled to bring up every time without prompting? For me, it's the fact that Robin Tunney is wearing a wig in The Craft because of having just shaved her head to save her job filming Empire Records.

Need this. Also, fantastic cover.

New book from James Gleick about the history of the telephone. “It gave us the party line, the busy signal, dial tones, wiretapping, the late-night DJ, and the booty call. It magnified the possibilities of government, of business, of friendship, of love.” [bookshop.org]

New official work: Kubo and the Two Strings 10th Anniversary for Laika Studios. Made at Empire Design. I'm thrilled to share this piece which was a joy to design and create. It pushed the boundaries of what I thought I was capable of but it ended up being my most favourite piece I've ever designed.
