My wife still has a working 1st gen iPod. I’ve had a few iPods, some survived-others not. Yes, plenty of manufacturers supplied the hardware-they didn’t supply the end to end ecosystem.

A lot of the complaints around any tech are exceedingly dumb but I find it hard to argue with posts saying an Apple product is grossly overpriced. That singular point is very accurate.

It’s almost as if most forum users have no idea, isn’t it?
