Lol, love seeing takes like the one referenced. People will always infer a story they want to see, despite having no context. That said, I agree it is not a zero sum game and we are better off letting many flowers bloom together.

I just hope someday we can work *together* as well. There is a reason why Open Source is great, and it is because of exactly what y'all have been doing on npmx.

I guess it kinda was like that with Node after Deno and Bun started gaining traction. Working with Node feels a lot more exciting than it did a few years ago.

I just hope npmx can be merged into npmjs to some point. npmx looks great, but it’s still a third party view into the npm registry. It can’t replace npmjs.

I would love if they added more filtering options on the search API endpoints, would help me a lot with the explore-feature for npmx
