Bluesfest cancelled. Thousands of people out of pocket and now lining up to see if they get anything back at all from the liquidators. Flights and accommodation down the tubes. They’re deleting comments from off their Instagram account, very many angry and upset music punters. I feel for everyone who has lost money here. Just eight days ago I got an email and they were still selling tickets. All this changed in a week? I highly doubt it. Pretty shit if you ask me.

Yes for everyone. Heard Canadian-American folk singer Steve Poltz interview on radio National this afternoon. He’s out here on tour and lost income because of Blues Fest cancellation. Great singer/ musician check him out on YouTube, buy his music. Other musos too.

Website T&C says "This ticket is sold by Bluesfest Enterprises PTY LTD (ABN 40 674 992 440) on behalf of Bluesfest Byron Bay Pty Ltd (ABN 51 650 115 709) who is responsible for the event." Only the first company appears to have had a liquidator appointed, hmmmm #auslaw
