“Dave gets on the piss”: Edition #224 Pizzini Pinot Grigio 2025 They’re a family owned winery in Victoria’s King Valley. True to their heritage they specialise in Italian wines. This wine is fresh and zingy with an aroma featuring crisp apples. It’s clean and crisp and perfect with fish. 92/100

When I managed a vineyard for Plantagenet Wines my boss brought some wine from his own cellar for our Xmas do. It was 2001 and we had Hill of Grace, Cyril Henschke,The Armagh and Plantagenet shirazes, all 1989. Ours made Hallidays top 100 most years and 89 was a good one but The Armagh killed it.
