Chris “did the job”

Nick just feels like he's been on the back burner since his stuff with Christian and this is his shot to put something on TV. So he's giving it his all. Problem is Jericho beats shit to death, so he may be trapped in this feud for way too long.

The landing for me is that he lets the young people win the feuds. Like Bandito, it does wonders for these up and comers. He loses nothing right and they gain so much literally

I think people’s dislike of Jericho colours their opinion of his work a little too much but this has been a good program.

Agreed, but Wayne has to win or it’s all for naught

It's undoubtably a step above Ricochet getting a cheap win, samey beatdown segments for weeks, then lost twice in a row. And Ciampa getting buried in a shitty catchphraseslop promo, getting one half decent win, then losing to the fucking Painmaker.

Was it the Jericho fued or was it finding a true mentor/father figure in Jun Kasai during the BOSJ '26?

Having the big PPV moment and soon jumping off for Jr Tag League might be really good for his long term growth on screen. Jericho will move on to something else, and Nick will return with aura intact.

they seem to fit eachother well in what they're trying to do as characters and it's been a perfect way for nick wayne to find his next step as a heel
