I was going to submit Spirittea to Best Ongoing/Supported Game but, sadly, I realized that one wasn't an option! Love the idea for an indie game awards though, and especially pleased to see it sponsored by @gamemaker.io ! 💚

Our thoughts were that ongoing/supported titles would be covered under the "ICYMI" category... But this sounds like a great idea, and it's not too late to add this!

ICYMI sounds like a fun category. I suppose it'd have to be games you "missed" that were still being updated in the year the awards were given. If you add the category I'll submit Spirittea! ;)

the submission form asks whether the game was released between 6 Dec 2023 and 31 Dec 2024 - is it possible this needs to be updated?

This has now been fixed. All submissions up until now are valid.

We managed to submit one before the change, but after the change we keep receiving an error blocking from submitting more.

Submitting your game for consideration is free, and we don’t charge a penny for our in-person awards ceremony. Shortlisted nominees will be announced on March 1st, 2026. The eligibility period is the entirety of 2025. Your game must have been released during this period. Open to all, worldwide.
