@kristin8x.antipovertycentre.org Shared this with my neighbours who also have the same shitty community housing provider

kristin (she/her)@kristin8x.antipovertycentre.org

we have someone at AC who has been doing some advocacy for people being treated unfairly by community housing landlords, including sorting out issues with rent setting. you can reach her on tenant.help@antipovertycentre.org if you would like someone to talk to about it.

Input Prompts is the largest collection of glyphs covering a wide range of input devices and platforms. It's also completely free and public domain. 🎮 I want it to be even better though so looking for feedback; what's missing? what can be improved? kenney.nl/assets/input...

I'm curious about the intersection between this and NDIS and wondering whether being disabled and having disability supports ripped away(because of the insane cuts happening now) makes someone even more at risk than just regular poor welfare people?

Antipoverty Centre@antipovertycentre.org

Yes, 20% of suicide deaths are people on JobSeeker. Yes, 60% of working age adults who die are on a Centrelink payment. So what did Tanya Plibersek do in Anti-Poverty Week? Give $5 million to charities. FULL STATEMENT:

PSA: the moogle discord account has probably been taken over by people distributing the classic discord "I have a game" malware. Be careful if you hear from them.

Hey @antipovertycentre.org, Just wanted to say thanks for the email. Have been in the throws of fighting the outright lying NDIA and haven't been focusing on welfare as much so an email that gets straight to the point and informs is so helpful for easily keeping myself informed ❤️

Replying to @picketer.bsky.social

We've now had essentially the same sorts of scandals in homecare, family day care, employment services, NDIS, veterans, residential aged care and ECEC. (I'm sure I've missed some in that list.)

Today I received an invitation to an #AI Gaming Conference promising to show devs how to go from prototype to #Steam launch in three months. As the #solodeveloper of a #handdrawn, frame-by-frame animated 90s-style #pointandclick adventure, I had some thoughts. So I replied.

Any astrophotographers out there? I'm looking for images of people looking at the sky without telescopes. If you can share shots of meteor watching in deckchairs, or anything of you hanging out under the stars that would be fab. 🔭

hey @asherwolf.bsky.social you might be interested to know and stow up your sleeve that Charles Sturt University's (CSU) school of computing and mathematics is emailing graduates and including all their emails in the TO field and in the clear to read. At least 1 person already replied back about it.

This would be really quite bad for any social justice advocacy.

In econ news, the ABS today says there is no planning for a new "Household Expenditure Survey". This survey breaks down spending by household types - incomes, wealth, age etc. Vital for determining how price changes affect people. Meant to be every 5 years. The last was in 2015-16.
