We talk about Bluesky getting users, but Bluesky is part of an open social internet called "The Atmosphere" where other people can make their own apps, including their own versions of Bluesky. Bluesky isn't growing; the Atmosphere is! You're not "our" users; you're a part of a shared place.

We have a lot of new folks that may not know anything about this, but we were created with this goal: to make sure that nobody ever monopolizes social media, including us. "The Atmosphere" is what we call the tech, which (if you're REALLY technical) you can read about here atproto.com
