Marc Elias knows the reputation he has. His strategies have been called “too aggressive.” He also knows violating norms means protecting democracy. “I think the only way through Trump in this authoritarian moment of the Republican Party is to show them that we will fight as hard as they do.”

There are no norms. There's no rule of law. The Constitution is only theoretical at this point. If we want a functioning, healthy Democracy, we need to be willing to hit back... literally in some cases. Go ahead, punch a fvcking nazi for democracy. Maybe send a few billionaires to the oubliette.

If it's worth fighting for, it's worth fighting dirty for. Stick within the bounds of the law, but that's all. If possible change the law to make it fairer. But don't pretend that these people will reciprocate if you show them fairness.

Wrong language Marc. We should NEVER fight like they do. They cheat, lie and steal. Stop letting them NOT TALK ABOUT PROTECTING CHILD RAPIST. Ever damn day it should be front page news until every last one of the pedophiles in in jail.

🗣️LETS FIGHT Marc! The “establishment” Dems are a relic and need to sit this fight out! They go along to get along AND benefit from GOP “policies” for members of Congress. Come on…these are the people who created latchkey kids(🙋🏾‍♀️) Can we trust them to make good decisions for us and future generations🙄

I'm hoarse from screaming at democrats to fight like they do! They have been deer in the headlights. Our leadership is absolutely to blame. Schumer needs to step down, as does Jeffries. NEITHER ONE HAS ATTEMPTED TO MEET THE COUNTRY WHERE WE ARE! SCHUMER LETTERS OF NAUGHTY NAUGHTY 💀R DEAD ✌️🇬🇧

All of these new reps and senators will use more of our taxes for salaries, benefits and expenses, like their D.C. offices and staff, D.C. housing, transportation, home state offices, etc.
