BREAKING: In a loss for voters, the D.C. Circuit affirmed a lower court ruling upholding parts of Trump's executive order targeting mail voting, including allowing: ✔️DHS to build a citizenship registry ✔️USPS to withhold mail ballots from states that don't share voter data with the government

The appellate court held that the pro-voting lawsuit was premature but left the door open for renewed challenges. The ruling comes a day after the DOJ asked the Supreme Court to lift a block on implementing the order in 23 blue states plus D.C. in a separate case.

🧭 Why the post is wrong The Bluesky post is doing the classic political‑viral trick: • Take a procedural stay • Pretend it’s a full Supreme Court ruling • Frame it as “SCOTUS sides with Trump!” This happens constantly with emergency applications.

Trump has spent his whole time so far as the president of getting rich. Underminding the election system, taking away America programs, taking away citizens rights and money, fighting with other countries & starting wars. I'm wondering when he will be the president of the United States of America.

But in a potential positive sign for voters, the court also noted that, for procedural reasons, it had not considered the steps USPS had taken over the last few weeks to implement the order. We do not consider those developments because they are not part of the record before the district court.
