I really can't conceive how requiring postal workers to compare every ballot (or ballot-looking) envelope to a list before putting it in the mail stream is efficient.

The Democratic Party (Marc's funder) was given the opportunity in 2020 to protect our voting rights AND reproductive rights. It didn't do shit. This is just another fundraising ploy for more do-nothing centrists.

Pure Fascism! The Constitution specifically gives Congress the exclusive power to manage the Postal Service. Trump Administration should have no involvement with the post office whatsoever!

I would clarify that the vast majority of the hundreds of thousands of USPS employees want nothing to do with this nonsense and despise the Postmaster General and most of the executive staff and governors that are supporting the lies Trump is spewing.

To make matters worse, it’s hard to even find a mailbox to drop off a mail in ballot these days. The drop boxes have been ripped up. Especially in Democratic areas. By design.

I got a check stolen from the mail, reported it to the postmaster general, but I never got a reply. My bank guy said two local post offices were under investigation because of other reports of stolen mail. The whole country is criminal.

I live in Washington State. We vote by mail. It's safe, and it works.

The AG of my state (Washington) was on with @chrislhayes.bsky.social and said that at USPS’ stated processing speed of 1 ballot/minute, it would take years to process our voter pool. There aren’t anywhere near enough machines to functionally parallelize that. It’s not a serious plan.

The job of the USPS is to pick up and deliver the mail. Deciding whether or not someone get their mail delivered because the White House says not to deliver it to them is a gross abuse of power and makes them a partisan agency.

Required: a comprehensive and accurate database of eligible voters in all 50 states. That database doesn't exist. Attempting to carry out these illegal orders will only result in massive disenfranchisement. Everybody knows that and Rs accept it believing that more D's will be affected than Rs.

The postmaster must be charged with trying to interfere with elections.
