Taiwan has a type of old man who stands outside with his pet turtle in a container so it can get some sun.

Turtles seriously need sun. Without it, their shells grow incorrectly. For some species, it can thicken into a heavy pyramid of bone that’s debilitating to the animal. So smile at those old guys.
