"Performance of posts on Bluesky doesn't match what I see on Twitter" Seeing both of these posts by @ens0.me perform as well as they have has me questioning everything. (I want to be super duper clear this is not some kind of call-out or backhanded dig.)

Consider that Bluesky has about 1/10th the DAU. (bsky.app/profile/dist...) So for a post here to do 1/3rd as good is wildly successful. It shows that it is possible to achieve high engagement and that we're not in a perpetual drought of interaction on the platform.

4. Bluesky, despite all of its numerous feeds, still has a fundamental distribution problem and it needs to grow, immediately. You can't expect engagement numbers on the order of X(124M DAU), Reddit (127M DAU), Snap (474M DAU), Insta (2B DAU) with 10M DAU. So if your likes are 1/10th, that's norm.
