This is straight up dystopian. What the fuck was anyone involved in this thinking?

Reality TV is just the worst, isn't it? But this show doesn't cross any line that hasn't been crossed a dozen times before, it's crime is openly acknowledging how ghoulish the whole genre is.

Sure, ethics, psychological damage, etc etc…the real flaw in the Stanford Prison Experiment was that they didn’t film it and broadcast it on network tv at a huge profit. Thank god that Netflix is finally correcting that oversight!

Someone once said that the reason it went so wrong was because everyone involved had gotten into Stanford. If you were to do the same experiment at a community college in Eugene, Oregon, it wouldn't be anything like it.
