When the AI bubble pops people will try and do the “how could we have known?” And the answer is “if you thought about the economics of generative AI or actually talked to people using it.” Everything I report is public. Will they try that, or will they be too busy trying to say they have been "Quant First" since 1807 and therefore are still worth eleventy billion dollars?
