It rocks to tell people their shit rocks. Every single person who has ever been nice about my work has been appreciated for doing so. I take time to say I love stuff and it’s always the right time to remind somebody you value their work! You don’t need to get into detail either. Just say it rocks

Ed, I would like to take this opportunity to tell you that your podcast has made me a much more effective AI hater. Now whenever I debate with the Pro-AI crowd at my university, it’s clear that they have no idea how fucked these companies are and they just enjoy how the products help them cheat.

Hell yeah indeed. One of the biggest problems with social media is thinking criticism equals intelligence, or at least thoughtfulness. It creates incentives to be a jerk. It’s far better to just give someone a high five than to be scold. Err on the side of support.

Again, thank you for all of your efforts. Your stuff rocks. As a professional software developer I can see how the AI craze can't possibly live up to all its promises. Your analysis of the business/finance side that props it up despite this is vital. The mainstream press is derelict in this duty.

Your shit totally rocks! As someone who’s been engaging with computer tech for 30 years, I really understand where you’re coming from when you talk about who important tech has been to you and how angry the enshittification makes you. Because yeah me too.
