Random thing that I vibe-coded recently - when I open a new tab in my browser, it opens an editable week note page for the current week. Behind-the-scenes it's just displaying a file from @obsidian.md - a bit handier than having to switch windows, and it automatically makes a new file each week.

Interesting. Would like to have a look under the hood. I also use Obsidian for task management.

The code isn't much, but if it helps I've just pushed it to my Github - github.com/emgoto/obsid...

Thanks!

Interested in what editor libs you picked. I'm also an obsidian user, and also slowly dying inside from how critically bad Obsidian's multi-window behavior story is on desktop. So I've been thinking about doing adjunct tools like this a lot (but haven't pulled the trigger yet).

It's very basic - so no editor, it's just a textarea. I've put the code up here if you wanted some inspo github.com/emgoto/obsid...
