Brexit was a referendum on whether the UK should leave the European Union. The UK has left the European Union. Referendum fulfilled. If the people bleating about "Brexit Betrayal" wanted the Referendum to enshrine their pet policy preferences, they should have included them in the question.

I rather thought it was to provide a counterexample to the aphorism, as popularized by Lewis Caroll, that "even a stopped clock is right twice a day".

Can we just ... I don't know ... like, ignore Hanan? Lots of folks of decent smarts, with reasonable views, and useful perspectives get routinely and wholly ignored, why not extend this at least to those who deserve it without a doubt. Like Hanan!
