It’s darkly funny that the administration is so intensely stupid that they think this will quell the data center backlash, instead of making people even madder.

They think that these data centers are a god given thing that's going to happen and that the people have no say in it. Boy how wrong they are. They really think we're going to accept these techbros as a forgone conclusion. The wake up call they're going to get.

The usual suspect states will stop publishing this data, which means that the red/redder state citizens will suffer the most.

FWIW I don't think they care about quelling the backlash or think this will do that. They know their rich donors want to be able to build the data centers more quickly, so they're trying to make that happen. Public opinion just doesn't matter.

I mean, at least it’s kinda consistent. These are the guys that thought slowing COVID testing would lead to reduced cases. Don’t give people notice about data center builds, then they’ll complain less 🤦‍♂️

This is what the right does not understand. They are being used to buy all of the billionaires. That is the only people that Dan centers actually help they want to turn our data sets into our GDP so they don't have to produce a thing and still be ungodly rich.

It really is very simple and I'll say it again. They should shut down Data-Centres (thus erasing AI), Dismantle everything and give the components to companies and jobs that need them.

Just found out there's a date center not too far from my house...next city over, literally secretly been there since 2013,..it was at first for Emergency type scenarios....but is being upgraded to do whatever they're doing now...Awesome Huh 🤬😡💥🔥
