Time for states to demand WHO is enforcing ICE in their state. All states should require names, social secirty numbers, birth certificate and a criminal background check for ANY ICE in their state.

As a resident of Minneapolis I can tell you nothing has changed. In fact it’s now the MPD and state troopers beating up observers and protesters. They’ve taken this job away from ICE allowing them the freedom to get back to their core mission, abducting people.

It's not complicated: either MPD protects the citizens and stands ICE down as needed, or it stays out of the way so the citizens can do so. Every protester they arrest is an echo back to George Floyd and their incompetence. If you want your city to trust you, then you gotta have their back.

One thing he can gain that ICE never can: cooperation. A small, trusted police force can do as well or even better than a larger one with some bad apples. The 4 or so that defected to ICE is good riddance. He just needs to appeal directly to the citizenry.

On December 5th with the invasion pending the Chief promised to keep ICE on a constitutional leash. Three shootings, dozens of muggings, countless home invasions and abductions by the feds later, his only arrests are of protesters. He has a glaring whose side are you on problem.

Do they have mutual aid agreements with other municipalities that aren't under attack? If so I would trigger them.

Personally all I see is hypocrisy. They're not angry ICE murdered people, they're angry because they didn't get to. How dare the feds show up in full combat gear with armoured vehicles and gas, that's our job. They want to shove people to the ground and assault them, it's what they do. On camera.
