Nice! Small thing, on "load more" I expect to load additional at the bottom (infinite scroll, so I can still scroll up), rather than replacing…rn it's more paginated but I can't "load previous" Also I don't see this event or my RSVP on smoke signal yet but maybe b/c it's just a test? idk

Okay not only am I *going* I'm also *hosting* this workshop / discussion / tiny exploratory symposium on atmospheric publishing, should be a lot of fun :) RSVP if you're planning to join!

It's looking SOOOO GOOD I've stumbled on those even before you changed to atmo.rsvp domain 😁 Quick questions Are you auto detecting the system timezone and preferred hour display? I noticed it's using 24 hours clocks for me and noticed a difference between event times when I'm in a different app

yes, it's not 100% solid yet, but it currently should always show events in your devices timezone/format for event creation it *should* also use your timezone, but i'm actually not 100% sure it correctly writes that to the record, i'll check that

Awesome!! I'll test out creating some events and verifying the data here too I feel like it would be good to have the option to specify in which timezone I'm creating an event, for the specific cases of organizing beforehand some in-person event in a different timezone

ok I found one bug I use the 24 hours format here, when I tried adding a ending date and time to a new event, I often struggle to change the end hour unless I use the backspace to clean everything by the end of the video you can see my struggle to change to 11:11 or 22:22, both valid hours to pick

was actually thinking about publishing something cool and atproto every day til atmosphereconf, so all people will talk about there is: "have you seen this cool new thing by @flo-bit.dev?" 😜

honestly if you can stick the landing just right with how you layer on email and calendars/iCal you have an actual investable business, luma raised a fortune on "eventbrite but less shitty" and somehow got the market share it has today despute being deeply broken and prematurely enshittified.

first official test of my backend-in-a-bottle contrail too, if things break (not completely unlikely...) its because i aint a backend guy 😜 (please lmk though)

flo-bit@flo-bit.dev

while i've been loudly proclaiming in the atproto devs discord meetings that you probably don't need an appview for your atproto side project, i'm now also working on my own "atproto backend in a bottle" that runs on cloudflare workers 😅 still super WIP, but happy for any early feedback

using the same community lexicon as smokesignals and openmeet, rsvp or create an event once and you'll appear on all three :)
